Christmas in Manila #8211; an amazing light show
December 21, 2016 M.
This video shows how amazing it is to be in Manila at Christmas time in 2016.
The streets of Manila and the buildings and the malls are covered in lights celebrating Christmas and that Jesus Christ was born. Never have I seen anything like this before.
It is a rather long video, but it does not get boring, but rather captivates with a beauty and creativity that is seldom experienced.

Safer Philippines with Duterte Effect
November 23, 2016 M.
I am amazed that there is a Duterte effect in Manila #8211; and probably elsewhere too, so short time after President Duterte got the power in the Philippines.
The Duterte effect is seen in this short video of the streets of Manila, the Philippines.聽 He has vowed a war on drugs, crime and corruption. Let #8217;s hope it is real effect and that at last the Philippines can get rid of the corruption and crime.

History, Traffic
A different perspective on Manila
November 4, 2015 M.
This is a rather odd perspecitve on Manila. Firstly it is about traffic and then history. The history part is quite interesting but very focused on the killings of Filipinos by imperial powers at various stages of the Philippine history. However former President and dictator Marcos, was not mentioned, maybe because he was himself a Filipino.
Imperial powers always leave some dark history with killing of innocent native people. But it would be interesting to see your comments on this on our Manila.PH Facebook page. Feel free to express yourself there.
Regarding the traffic matter, then I am sure that many other cities have much worse traffic situation than Manila. Cities like Mumbai, Jakarta or maybe even Tokyo.

A day in Manila Zoo
October 24, 2015 M.
When you are in Manila, and have a day off, why not spend it in Manila Zoo?
There are lots of animals to see and it is always interesting to see how the animals behave and look like. Nothing is like seeing a majestic animal with your own eyes #8211; seeing a movie or documentary even it is from National Geographic just does not make the trick or give the same impression.
Besides the facination of the animals, one cannot help but wonder, how the tiger or lions can manage to live in such small confinements, when their natural habitat is many squares of kilomiters, where they can wander around and live in the free, getting proper exercise by running far and fast fast to hunt for food.
Going to the zoo also requires that you can manage the smell #8211; especially on a sunny day. If you have children to bring with you, it may be one of the highlights of their life always to remember and cheerish.

However, before you pay a fortune for a ticket to any seminar, watch a lot of free videos on YouTube and other places and you will learn. If you practice what you learn you do not need to pay for what you learn at such a conference or seminar.
